CLIMA 2022 brings professional and researchers together to discuss and find answers to the questions society and our sector are dealing with. We therefore focus on the application of the latest scientific and practical developments in our sector which were divided in five main themes:
The full paper submission has expired on January 13th, 2022.
You can submit a research paper with a maximum of 8 pages or a technical paper with a maximum of 5 pages. All full papers will be reviewed and the Executive Scientific Committee will decide if you may present your paper as an oral presentation or as a poster. Even authors who would prefer a poster presentation over an oral presentation, must write a full paper.
How does Paper submission work?

- Paper submission consists of logging in into Conftool selecting your earlier submitted contribution (abstract), and uploading the full paper.
- A template for the papers is available here. You are required to use this template.
- The maximum length of full (research) papers is 8 pages and for technical papers 5 pages (max 2 papers per author registration).
Both are suitable for either oral or poster presentation. - Papers must be submitted in English.

Research & Technical papers
- The full paper submission has expired on January 13th, 2022.
- Paper submission consists of logging in into Conftool selecting your earlier submitted contribution (abstract), and uploading the full paper. Please update all other details as well, including the presenting author, topics (theme), keywords, and double-checking the track to which you are submitting / assigned.
- CLIMA2022 follows a double blind review procedure, so make sure that all identity information in your submission is temporarily removed (no author names, emails, organization, or references to your earlier work).
- A template for the papers is available here. You are required to use this template.
- The maximum length of full (research) papers is 8 pages.
The maximum length for technical papers is shorter, 5 pages.
Both are suitable for either oral or poster presentation. - During the submission process authors can select their preference for a presentation online (no physical presence) or onsite (in Rotterdam). This question is for organization purposes only. It will be possible to change this preference later according to the situation with covid-19 related issues and your personal preference.
- Submission of a paper acknowledges your acceptance for the paper to be published in the official conference publications (including the website) and for the presentation to be broadcasted, see here for copyrights and data statement.
- The proceedings will be published open source (similar to proceedings CLIMA 2016 and CLIMA 2019) and referenced in the directory of openbook (www.doabooks.org) and google scholar. The proceedings are registered with a ISBN and a DOI. All papers will be referenced with a DOI.
- The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the paper and agree to its submission, before submitting the abstract.
- Please note that there is a maximum of 2 papers per author registration. For any additional paper (3th , 4th , …) linked to your name as presenting author, an extra fee of 300€ needs to be paid.
- Papers that have been previously presented at another similar congress cannot be submitted.
- Papers must be submitted in English. All papers should be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication. If you need help, please arrange for the review of your paper by a colleague who is a native English speaker or by a copy editor, prior to submission.
