Professor Lidia Morawska is joining us at CLIMA 2022 as keynote speaker for the theme Health & Comfort. Morawska, director of the International Laboratory for Air Quality and Health at QUT and Vice-Chancellor Fellow, Global Centre for Clean Air Research (GCARE), University of Surrey, UK , has many publications and activities on air quality and the transmission of infectious diseases. For this, Morawska was recently featured by TIME Magazine as one of the 100 most influential people of the world.
Morawska’s keynote speech on Monday the 23rd of May will cover the airborne route transmission of the Coronavirus and the importance of ventilation in the issue at hand. She will give insight on how she and her colleagues convinced the World Health Organisation (WHO) to include ventilation as a standard Covid measure.
